....Well, maybe not DYING, but I'm sure you're wondering what I've been up to these past few weeks!!
Well, firstly........
The result of my audition!!
I got a callback for a Boylan Sister in Annie, and went a few Sunday's ago...and it went alright.
Then I get an email saying they want to come in for ANOTHER callback tomorrow!! So pray for me!! (I get super nervous!)
I'm super excited because Beauty & the Beast (the show I'm directing/choreographing) is ALMOST DONE!! The kids have been working super hard and I can't wait to start a full run of the show!! We're completley done Act 1 now which is awesome. Just a few more things to finish and then......RUN TIME!!!
My Lindbjerg kids (Bugsy Malone'ers) did a "Kids Helping Kids" Benefit last Saturday....and I was SO proud of them. I'm really excited for their show to get on its feet and begin becoming a show!!!
Hmm...What else......
Oh! I saw the Harlem Globetrotters a couple Thursdays ago (for those of you who don't know who they are, they're a basketball team that does tricks and stuff while playing the game!) Very entertaining. It was a Valentines Day gift from my boyfriend. Look 'em up!
I think that's about it, nothing else is TOO exciting about life......

Just those three words are involved in this blog. As seperate entities.... TRICKED YA!!
Well.

Just those three words are involved in this blog. As seperate entities.... TRICKED YA!!
Well.
Here I am. Sitting on the couches at school. EXTREMLEY early in the morning.....(well.....kinda.)
Thought I'd do a little update on my life before I head to class and do a presentation on some good ol' science fiction stuff (Woo!)
Hmmm....where to start??
Well, last night I had my audition for Theatre Under the Stars. I was planning to do it on Sunday, but they had SO many people show up, that they moved me to Tuesday. Which is fine, because it was less rushed and more relaxed!
So, anyway, my audition. As some of you know, I am pretty much PETRIFIED of them. Well, not really......but I get very very nervous. So I walk into the room and I sing my song.....and it didn't suck!! I was pretty proud of myself.....usually I'm so nervous that my voice shakes and I can't belt out and act out my song in a natural, fun way!! But this time felt different. I think I did a pretty swell job. An 8 out of 10.
And everyone on the panel were super nice. It really helps to know that they're all on YOUR side and that they want you to do your best. Phew!!
Then was the dance call. When I exited the room I was shaking from all the adrenaline going through my system. Thank goodness my mommy was there to gimme my water bottle and support me!!
....after was the dance call. Now, a few blogs ago I said that I feel dancing is now the weakest point that I need to work on. But I went in there and did a good job (for the most part). Usually I'll get all flustered and screw up dance steps.....but I didn't!!! Only thing is that for the tap call, Shelley (the choreographer for "Thoroughly Modern Millie") went around and asked every single one of us if we could do a pull back or wings. And I can't do either, so I said so. Afterwards I told my mom in the car that I should've said ("I can't do them, but I can FAKE 'em!"). Haha. Oh well.
In all, I felt it went pretty well!
Phew. That was quite a bit for just an audition!! Hahah.
What else is going on in my life....hmmm....well school is going!! Thank goodness we get Monday and Tuesday of next week OFF for a reading break. (Which is a good thing....because I need to get caught up in some of my classes!)
OOH! Also here are some pics from the opera I went and saw...."Carmen". It was PHENOMENAL!!! The sets were amazing I cannot even describe. We obviously couldn't take pics of the actual SHOW so here are some of me and my boyfriend outside in the lobby!

I think that's about it!

Philosophical Thoughts (with a sprinkle of good ol' Amanda life).
Do you know what I love?
I love when I look back at old blogs/journal entries (yes, I keep a journal!) of mine. It reminds me of what I was feeling on that particular day, or what happened to me. It's cool because I would never have remembered that these things happened without my records of them. It's actually kind of cool looking back into your past. I see how I've changed, or how I've grown, and in some cases, how I have not changed at all!!
Lately, I have been learning and realizing so much about myself....and life.
Like, No matter who you are, you will always have an impact on someone. And having this on the mind makes you want to become a better person...(at least it does for myself). It makes me wonder how many lives I can change (or have for that matter)....I think it's really important to be true to one's self. It's the way God intended us to be. We should not be judgmental, or dishonest.....we should display to others our own, pure, beautiful selves. It is THIS fact that influences others.
I've also learned that I will never grow up. Sure, I'm mature, responsible, etc.....But I'm still a kid at heart. For example? I enjoy spending time and playing with my younger cousin. Her brothers, who are in Grades 10 and 12 (also known as my OTHER cousins) are just amazed at how long I can go in being able to keep my energy up with her.
How do I do it? It's fun!
I never want to turn into one of those people who is SO hard-working that they never have time to have fun.
Sorry, this is a random mix of thoughts.
While I'm at it, perhaps I should update on life.
1. I'm as sick as a dog.
My nose is stuffy, my throat hurts, my lungs ache, my head hates me. It's pretty great. I lost my voice for a little bit (which has NEVER happened to me).
I even left teaching EARLY yesterday (and I NEVER do this).
2. I have a Math midterm on Tuesday which I have not started studying for because I have been in no mood to due to sickness. Shoot.
3. I got invited by my boyfriend's family to go see the opera "Carmen" on Thursday night. I'm SO EXCITED! I've never been to an opera before. It's going to be amazing.
I think that's all. I should go back to try reading the most confusing book in the history of books.
