Long one, But not about anything too cool.

Man, with school readings, and reading on my own, I've been doing nothing but reading all sorts of literature. It's actually pretty cool. Right now I'm reading "Tevye's Daughters" by Sholom Aleichem. This was the book that "Fiddler On The Roof" is based on. It's pretty cool so far, I started reading it yesterday and I'm almost halfway through the book already!

Anyways, as for everything else, life is pretty good. Fiddler is going steadily, school is keeping me busy, and teaching is fun and excellent.
Speaking of Fiddler, I'm proud to announce that we have added one of my favourite people to the cast. None other than THE Joel Ballard. I love that boy more than Life itself. And now, JAB (Joel, Amanda, Becky) is reunited in a show once again, and we are going to rock it, so you better come see us.

Also, I am in Lindbjerg's Anne of Green Gables offically, playing Marilla (although it's double-casted, so I won't get to play her every show, but that's okay!) So I'm excited for that. Although I'm the oldest of the group, and my experience in theatre is higher than the rest of the class, I think it will still be an awesome challenge for me, as Marilla is a character who shows no emotion until the end of the play.

Anyways, what else? Tomorrow is Jared and I's anniversary. 1 year, 4 months. 16 months! Crazy stuff. But exciting at the same time! (Yes, I'm a nerd, I take account of each month, so what!? I'm a girl, okay!)

Hmm, what else to say? I saw Wicked Friday night in Seattle, and it was so amazing. It was my first time seeing a show of such caliber (even though I have seen other professional shows, this one takes the cake.) Not only because it is Wicked, but because on how well it was.

And Saturday night I went to Jared's band gig. He's in a band called BASIC, and for those of you who don't know, he's the drummer. (And I so badly wish I was corrdinated enough to be able to do such a thing!) Anyways, since I first saw them until now, they have improved tremendously. It makes me want to be part of a band who has that much talent. Anyways, it was fun, and Jared even came down to the mic's from his drumset and dedicated a song to me! *Blush*. I had no idea, but it was super sweet of him, considering he is a pretty shy guy. It was cool though, I'd never had someone dedicate a song to me before! I felt so special. haha, I'm a dork.

Anyways, That's about all the info on my life right now.
Stay tuned in for more.

-Amanda

PS. Candice, I'm sorry I haven't been able to hang out with you. I know I told you I'd call you and I haven't, and I'm truly sorry. Once I find the time, I promise I'll go downtown with you or something. Love you!

Bored Bored Bored.

Well. I've finished all my homework, and I have nothing else to do!

Jared is in the other room playing video games with my brother, my mom is going to bed, my dad is in the garage and who knows where my sister is.

Guh. I hate this feeling.

Anyways...

A bunch of things are on my mind right now about religion and my relationships with people, and how they go together. No one who I am really close to has a personal connection with God. I mean, they attend church occasionally, but they don't cry out to God and ask him for forgiveness the way i do. They haven't found that spiritual connection yet. And it hurts me. I mean, I have a lot of people around me who worship Jesus, but they're not Catholic. I want to share all these things with the people who are really close to me but I can't because they aren't where I am in my faith and it's hard. I talked to this guy, Rob, who is head coordinater of Catholic Christian Outreach, a program at my school about this. He used the word conversion, which I hate. I hate the fact that I have to 'convert' someone in order for them to understand me and talk to me about this. Aw well.

In other news, singing lessons with Peter is awesome. I've only had 2 lessons and I've learned so much already. I have to concentrate on dropping my tongue and opening up my throat etc etc.

Anyways, Jared's here now, so i better jet.

Byyyyye!

Excitement.

So. Last night I went to the Foggy Dew for the first time! It was my first time going out to a pub! Very exciting. It was really fun, my friends and I danced a looooot! But I hated that the dance floor was soooo small! I couldn't even move half the time. Oh well, it was fun, anyways. Something to do.

Annnnnnnnnnnd what else? OH! I taught my first Lindbjerg classes yesterday! My Beginner tap class is soo adorable, i could just squeeze them! They're so great. And I helped with the Jungle Book class and they're going to be great as well. So yeah. That happened

And yeah that's about all the excitement I have in my life right now. I think.

BUT NOW I MUST CLEAN MY ROOM AND START GETTING READY FOR MY FIDDLER REHEARSAL!

yayyaya.
bye.

What's Happening?

Well Well. I just have to say that I am SO excited for Fiddler to begin showing (even if I DO have to wait until November.) I can tell that it's going to be a great show - the cast is wonderful! I am so happy whenever I am at rehearsals because I just don't want them to end. I love the role of Hodel - I absolutely love it. I can't wait to start singing Far From the Home I Love. YAY.

Anyways, My cousin's wedding was on Saturday, and it was absolutley beautiful. A very very elegant wedding. The reception was a lot of fun too. I can actually get drinks from the bar now! Ooo exciting stuff. (Hahaha). Also, I got Jared to dance with me! (And you say you can't dance, Jared.) My MOM even danced with him! Oh, it was funny. We had a blast!

And yesterday I auditioned for Lindbjerg's Anne of Green Gables. I'm hoping to get Marilla - I think it would be such a challenge (as I can't get a younger role because I am the oldest in the cast!)

As for the job situation, I haven't really had time to go out and do anything (due to school starting this week). So, hopefully when I have more time I'll just drop my resume off to different places, and then see what happens!

And tomorrow I offically begin singing lessons with Mr.Peter Jorgensen! I'm so excited - finally my first singing lesson! It's going to be fun.

I think that's all for now, so ta ta!

Crawl into a hole and DIE.

Okay, so I'm basically dreading life right now, as I basically have no source of income, yet I have to pay off shtuff. I'm trying to get a job, I'm just scared they won't hire me as I have Fiddler and I won't be able to work most of November. My books for school were like 500 bucks, plus I have my car insurance and my cellphone bill to pay every month.

....Is it normal to have a breakdown like every 2 weeks? No joke.

I'm going to be so swamped this semester - 5 classes, teaching for Lindbjerg, Fiddler, singing lessons (there goes more money), trying to find a new job, plus trying to make time for Jared and family and friends - not to mention myself..

I hate the life of a student

Please pray for me - I don't know what else to do.

I Miss You!

Okay, first of all, I must ask: Why are Kayla and I so damn attractive in the photo?
Sometimes I wish I wasn't me, so I could date myself.

I also sometimes wish that I was a lesbian so I could date Kayla. PS - not really.....but you know.

There are three people I miss immensely right now:

Kayla, Daniel, and Joel.

You three made my summer what it was! I'm so sad we won't be spending much time together anymore. Especially Kayla and Daniel - WHEN WILL I SEE YOU GUYS NEXT! I love you guys more then you'll know.....

Don't get me wrong, I miss you too, Lauren Kramm!! You are my little bubble of enthusiatic joy.

GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH.

Come to my house and sleepover ------------ FOREVER.

Okay, I'm done my "I miss you's". There are plenty more people out there that i truely miss but you guys stick out in my mind.

Amanda on YouTube?

Haha, so Joel told me that he had seen a video of me dancing on YouTube.
My good friend Kayla took it of me during the intensive.

It's so funny - Jenn! I do a bit of the chunion dance at the very beginning!
Please keep in mind that this is improvisation dancing - I was doing it on the spot - hence why I look so out of the loop and like "what am I going to do next?!"

Check it out! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcOMpML4ouM

Anyways, besides that.....life is good.
On wednesday, Jared and I went bike riding on the sea wall - it was gorgeous. plus we got a great workout! The weather was perfect.

Then yesterday him and I went to the PNE. And I didn't ride ANY rides this time! We saw the Superdogs, Motocross, Parade, Illusion show, and some fire juggler (who was absolutely hilarious!). And, of course, we watched Rollin' Thunder. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit - at least it's something different from Bring On The Night (I was getting a little sick of that!) I think I might audition for one of the shows at the PNE next year - But I dunno! We'll see.

Anyways, ta ta for now.
